John Galliano Speaks! Watch Clips From His Brutally Honest Interview With Charlie Rose HERE!

| Filed under: Fashion SmashionChristian DiorJohn Galliano

In a dark room with just a single table between them, John Galliano gives his first television interview to Charlie Rose since being fired from Christian Dior more than two years ago.

While he opened up to Ingrid Sischy for the Vanity Fair interview, actually seeing John and hearing him tell his emotional story is a totally different experience!

The 52-year-old is almost unrecognizable with his hair slicked back into a ponytail and dressed very conservatively (especially for him!) in a blue dress shirt and navy blazer.

And though Rose creates a somber but calm atmosphere, John's fear and nervousness are clearly visible on his pained, makeup-free face.

Watch an excerpt (above) from the interview, and check out two more heartfelt clips…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

In this clip, Johnny G (as he called himself in rehab) opens up about his feelings after Alexander McQueen's tragic suicide back in 2007.

This short clip features John addressing his anti-Semitic comments.

Be sure to check out the FULL, hour-long interview HERE!

This man is a talented, outrageous and obnoxious designer, not a world peace leader…he's a drunk, I think people over reacted.

Absolutely NO EXCUSE for his actions. I do not feel bad that he was fired from Christian Dior, and I do not feel sorry for him at all. He deserves what happened to him.
I used to love watching his creations going down the runway.
I am a Jew and was extremely hurt by what he did.
Good for him that he got his life straightened out and is clean. A truly talented human being, however there had to have been some truth to what he said or it would not have even crossed his mind. I can not forgive it and I know the fashion industry made up of a majority of Jews probably feel the same way too.

John Galliano apologized and asked for forgiveness. We ALL make mistakes, and he has paid a for his remarks. Why can't he get back to work? The world needs to forgive and forget–its clear he is sincere in his apology.
