What is Liv Tyler up to these days, you might be wondering. Well, she's writing a foreword for her grandmother's book on manners and covering Net-A-Porter's The Edit!
The 36-year-old channels the 60s in mod-ish attire for the mag, including a fuzzy pink coat by Rochas, and a pink Moschino houndstooth jacket.
And, really, she doesn't look a day over 28!
The former face of Givenchy also admits that she has her boring phases when it comes to fashion, saying:
"I’m very unfashionable at the moment. I go through periods where I pay a tremendous amount of attention to fashion, then I get mad at it and don't read magazines, don't look at the collections. I'm in one of those moments right now. And then I get mad at myself because I don't know what's going on and I don't have anything new."
She always talks about her favorite type of look and style inspirations. She said:
"Corseted, pulled in, little waist, pointy boobs – that look actually really suits me, because there’s some construction to it. I always go back to the classic images; I can’t help but be influenced by Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn, Paul Newman and Steve McQueen, and the Kennedys. I find myself inspired all the time by my mother and my grandmother and their innate natural elegance, much more than fashion or trends that are hot right now."
And like many a starlet before her, Liv has entertained the notion of starting her own clothing line that would focus on the basics, but for now those are "pipe dreams," according to her.
Go for it, Liv, the market isn't totally saturated yet!
