The rumor mill is rife with accusations that supermodel Cara Delevingne has been dumped by H&M, but according to the retailer, she was never even the face of the brand!
A spokesperson for H&M said:
"She is not a model with us and I think there was a misunderstanding that she was the face of H&M. We just used her for the show."
The spokesperson also added that there was "no particular reason" that they would use Cara in the future. Ouch!
According to sources, photos taken of the model with a bag of white powder believed to be cocaine falling out of her purse back in May led to H&M reevaluating their relationship with her.
The Swedish company has a "zero tolerance" policy when it comes to drug use, and had no problem dropping Kate Moss back in 2005 when she was taped using cocaine with then-boyfriend Pete Doherty.
Well, Cara still has all of her other high fashion contracts, and H&M still has Beyonce, Doutzen Kroes, and Gisele Bundchen to represent them.
Anyway, check out pics of Cara modeling H&M's Divided collection in the gallery (below)!
