BET Network Sued By Transgender Personality B. Scott After Being Forced To Wear Men's Clothing!

| Filed under: Fashion SmashionLegal MattersBET AwardsAdrienne Bailon

Openly transgender and gay B. Scott was forced to change clothes, hair, and makeup by BET!

This sounds like major trouble for BET!

After hiring B. Scott to be their "Style Stage Correspondent" for this year's BET Awards pre-show, the openly transgender "multimedia maven" is now suing the network for what went down behind the scenes!

The well-known internet personality started off wearing a previously approved sheer tunic, matching pants and heels, but according to the lawsuit, Scott was "ordered to mute the makeup, pull back his hair" and change into a men's suit and loafers.

Even though the adjustments were made, it was to no avail because Scott was yanked from the show and replaced by Adrienne Bailon.

The lovebscott.com creator is asking BET fork over $2.5 million in reputation damages and for discriminating based on gender identity and sexual orientation as well as a "true public apology".

BET has yet to comment on the situation, but until they do, you can view the two different outfits (below)!

Life is so confusing these days. I had to read this a couple of times.

But they let this person go out the way he/she was dressed for the first segment, and should have provided an outfit if they wanted something specific.

Ridiculous. He/she should have just been fired on the spot. Ever heard of a dress code? And he was "ordered" to mute the makeup… probably because he/she wanted to make the whole show about he/she. Stunts like this are what ruin it for everyone. They make one step forward and three steps back. Do you think any other transgendered person will ever get the opportunity for a gig like this anywhere else now? NO. Stupid and selfish. There will never be equality so long as these drama queens exist in the world. They hurt their own cause

FUCK ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: shaygirl1309, eicarr & jnest… research & become familiar with what & how all of this went down! The original outfit was approved multiple times, DAYS in advance of the award show. The discrimination that took place all happened during the actual program. BET fucked theirselves and deserve to payout what B Scott is suing them for. They also need to really apologize and not rely on that half-assed BULLSHIT of an apology that they merely tweeted B Scott!!!!

I was a B Scott fan long before he became "famous" and got all sadity, but come on. The so called masculine picture still looks feminine. I don't see anything manly about it.

He should be thankful he got the gig. I don't see where his treatment, regardless how BET did him, warrants receiving 2.5 million dollars. Try digging ditches. There are people out there doing much harder work than you.
