We expected sparkles and sheer, but this is such a nice change! And we're loving the slit, obviously!
She looks so confident and ready to hit that stage, too!
Slay tonight, baby!

The spread also features the shots of Mileybird in couture taken by Terry Richardson for the September issue! And as much as we love those pics, we're rather intrigued by what the 20-year-old had to say about her style in the interview.
Regarding her outfits in the We Can't Stop video, she said:
"I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they're 'fashion.' But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I'm on a whole other level of shit that those girls don't even get yet because they don't know how to do it."
Of her short-lived clothing line with Walmart, Miley recalls being dissatisfied with the style and quality of the items, saying:
"I went in there and saw, like, a puppy on a T-shirt. I was like, 'This is not what I wanted.' I wanted skinny jeans, I wanted to bless Walmart with jeggings! Making real stuff with high quality. Not quantity. But not until I know I can give it 120 percent. I don't want to just slap my name on something."
And just in case, she always carries around her own collection of accessories. She revealed:
"I never know when I'm going to be like, 'Photo shoot!' And need some weird stuff to whip out. What if I get to a photo shoot and the stylist just sucks? So I bring my own shit."
Miley also talked about her fave place to shop:
"My favorite store in the world is Chanel in London. I felt like I was walking to the gates of heaven. They did say the gates would be covered in pearls."
Despite having a variety of fall coats, her heart belongs to one. She told the mag:
"I try to switch it up but always go back to this particular Margiela."
As for shoes, she admits she cannot pick a favorite:
"That's like asking a mother to pick a favorite child!"
Lucky for Miley, she doesn't have to choose. She can have as many as she wants!
