If you wanna look adventurously sexy, you want Jill Powell!

Gurl turns everything into bona fide gold!

So it's no surprise that Demi Lovato would hire the makeup artist for her glam squad.

And now, thanks to Jill also being just as awesome as she is talented, we have an EXCLUSIVE in to the workings behind Demicorn's Neon Lights music video.

Get the goods …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

"Demi actually came up with the inspiration for the video. She knew she wanted a pool of water and neon/glow in the dark makeup. She pulled some images and we use those to create the vision for her looks."

"For the water scenes we wanted beautiful skin, very natural makeup while sill being glamourous. To do this and make her skin look wet, I used 3 different foundation colors to create dimension. I used a waterproof mascara on her eyes and concealer to contour her eyes naturally. I set everything with powder, bronzer and highlighter to make sure it stayed well in the water. To finish the look and make her skin look wet, I massaged Argan Oil into my palms and pressed it onto her face. This made it look like she had no makeup on but perfect glowing, wet skin. A little secret- Demi had the idea to do blue eyebrows to add a little something to the look and match her blue hair color. I loved it and since it was shot in a darker setting, it wasn't extremely noticeable but was a fun added touch."

Products used:
Make Up For Ever Face and Body Foundation
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
Laura Mercier Foundation Powder
Smashbox contour palette
Laura Mercier Spellbound Highlighter
Kay Von D Tattoo Concealer
Anastasia Brow gel in blue
MAC pigment in Teal and White Frost to add to the brows for color and shine
Lancôme Hypnose Drama waterproof mascara
Anastasia Lash Genius waterproof mascara sealer

"We wanted to keep it chic while having fun with black light sensitive makeup. Demi had pulled tons of inspirational images and I used these as a platform to create the look. I did an extreme winged liner using a combination of Wolfe Brothers cream makeup and Make Up For Ever Fluo Nite pigment.

I started out by creating the wing shaped liner with a while eye liner pencil to get the shape. I then used an angled brush and mixed Fluo Nite pigment with Make Up Forever Eye Seal to create a waterproof liquid solution. I used this on top of the white liner and finished the winged liner. To create the lip color I started by using white liner to fill in the shape of the lips and packed pink Fluo nite pigment on top. I used the Wolfe Brothers neon cream makeup to add a clean edge to the lips and also for under Demi's eyes as eyeliner."

Products used:
Make Up For Ever Fluo Nite Pigment
Make Up For Ever Eye Seal
Wolfe Brothers Neon cream makeup Palette
MAC Fascinating eye liner pencil

"One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the makeup looked good under both lighting set ups. Since it was all shot at the same time I needed the makeup to be compatible in the black light set up as well as full lighting. I didn't have any black lights in the makeup trailer so I didn't see what it looked like under black light until we were on set ready to shoot the scenes. Any speck of pigment that fell showed up under black light so I had to be extremely precise with everything. But I think it turned out great!"

"My tip for removing specks of pigment or glitter that has fallen on the cheeks is to lightly press a piece of scotch tape to pick up the excess."

I see Demi's still BINGING & PURGING with the blue toilet bowl cleaner staining her hair….
She really needs to put her hair up in a bun before she induces vomiting…

Re: Fairy258 – She's a heavy girl and you're in denial and lying to yourself if you say otherwise. I don't know about "fat" but she's definitely bigger.

Some of you are so mean calling her "fat bitch"….She's very talented and worked hard to get where she is at now. I think she is a gorgeous girl who doesn't need to hear the negativity from insensitive people. For one, dont call someone fat whether she is or isnt fat. Two, get your eyes checked if you think she's fat.
