Is there a family feud brewing in the beauty bizz??
In fact, it's a line she built with her mom's help as general manager! But after the mother-daughter duo worked together for 10 months, Therese Kerr left Kora. However, Therese's exit from the company didn’t assuage her passion for beauty products!
Mama Kerr is now planning her own line of organic beauty products, called Divine By Therese Kerr.
Therese explained the reasoning behind her new line, saying:
"Miranda wanted to keep Kora as a skincare range, but I said: 'You know what? I want to share certified organic goodness with the world.'"
Translation: Therese wanted to take the line of products beyond skincare, while Miranda wanted to limit the line!
Therese plans on launching products such as deodorant, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, mouthwash, hand wash, and hand lotion. Soon after that, she wants to include hair and baby products too!
Her line is set to be launched in February, but before that happens the real question is: what does Miranda think of her mommy’s bold move?!?
"I'm really proud of Mum for creating this range. There is definitely a gap in the market for certified organic personal care products. She is passionate and dedicated and I know it will be a huge success for her."
Guess there are no grounds for a feud here, because both ladies just want to offer higher quality organic products to the world!
But of course that begs the next question of… why did Therese leave Kora Oragnics to begin with??
"I stepped down from that position because I wasn't walking my walk in regards to health and wellness. I was working too many hours a day and not having that balance I needed and that combined with stress, it got too much. It is what it is and I live life to the fullest and now I have found my passion and it is Divine."
Hey! All's well that ends well, right?!
We can't wait to see all that Divine By Therese Kerr has to offer in complement to her daughter's brand!!
