It's been a career of firsts for Chinese supermodel Fei Fei Sun!
She was the first Asian model to appear all by herself on the cover of Italian Vogue AND the first Asian model to star in an ad campaign for Valentino!
And though Lucy Liu's covered the digital mag before, Fei Fei is the first Asian model to appear on the cover of Net-A-Porter's The Edit as well!
Not too shabby!
The 24-year-old wears shades of red and pink on the cover and in the spread, rocking Valentino (naturally), Chloe, Marchesa, Stella McCartney, and Michael Kors.
But besides posing, she gives us some info on herself!
She begins by talking about her time studying fashion design before becoming a model. She said:
“I studied fashion design and modeling at university in Shanghai before winning the Elite Model Look competition. It helped me to understand fashion, but modeling is definitely my main focus now.”
And even though she's a top model who has to stay in shape, Fei Fei claims she never diets, saying:
“I never diet, as I love food. But I pay attention to my health: I eat organic meals and drink a cup of manuka honey and hot water in the morning to calm my stomach.”
She also reveals she's eyeing a career in film. She said:
“It’s too early for me to predict where my career may lead. I try to live in the present. There is a Chinese saying: ‘People will find the right way when they reach the cross in the road’. Though I am interested in becoming an actress…”
At the risk of being too punny, Miz Sun is shining bright! LOLz!!
