”Style is just as essential as talent if you want to not only be an artist, but a legit superstar in the industry!”
    - What a crock of bullshit.

Ariana is not just famous for her music, she is famous for her looks too, and if she wants to keep that same hair style her career is really gonna suffer. It looks ghetto when you have that much money , wearing the same hairstyle everyday. She says her hair is damaged from dying it, but I'm sure she can find a stylist to healp her with that.

Looks better than Miley and Kesha combined.

I think she's scared to take a risk. That hairstyle is like the old blankie u couldn't let go of when u were a baby, her safety net. Its time to grow up, style-wise.. The damaged hair excuse doesn't work, when many other celebs have done just as much with their hair and still managed to change it up…Sadly Perez is right, If you want your music to be noticed, YOU have to be noticed too.. Don't have to be Miley, There are plenty stylish/cool/mature artist out there too.(Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, etc)

She doesn't even have to change drastically, just change up you hair a little bit, even letting it down or straighten it out or put it in a bun, any little thing would help. But she doesn't budged from that half up half down look.. Its true hair isn't that serious so why is so hard to just simply let it down, small easy little changes… But i will say I like how she dresses, its simple and her.

    Who even cares?
Are you serious? Stop complaining about peoples styles and get a life. It's just how people dress, what matters is in the inside, or to most of you people it's what's on the outside which is wrong in my opinion.

    Nice looking dress.

Let this young woman grow & change in her own time, and in her own way. Madonna and all other women who found success, were able to grow into their style and sound. Ariana should have the time & space that she needs to grow & change, with out being bullied or rushed. You can't speed up someone else's growth, let her do her thing, and find her way. Perez and all others need to get off her back, and let her live!

Re: B – Its her life, style, and career. People need to get off her back, you can't speed up her growth & change just because you want to see something different. She has the right to find her way, in music and in fashion, just like all other women before her, so let her do that at her own pace. If its not to your liking, like she said " go look at someone else." Those who care about her talent, will stand by her, and give her the space she needs to grow!

Re: Penny – We don't get to decide for her, when to take risks or what those risks should be. All other female artists got to grow & change in their own time, and in their own ways. She should have that same time & space to do the same, without everyone giving her grief. You can't speed up someone else's growth. She has already said that she's working on new music, with different sounds, so she's clearly taking steps. When she's ready she will do that with her style too. The fact that it hasn't happened much yet, has nothing to do with fear, she's taking her time, and no one has the right to tell her different. The damaged hair issue isn't an excuse, that's just what happened. Yes others have been through it, but bleaching and dying will do damage. That's why others spend big money to get it professionally done. That costs a pretty penny, and some women have to learn the hard way. We don't get a vote in how she deals any of it, no matter what our personal opinions are. People need to let her grow and learn over time, like all others have, and stop rushing her.

Re: sumone – I like her answer "I'll change up my style when i'm ready to!" Why isn't that enough for people, I'll never understand. Artist don't need the rest of the world to tell them who to be, or how to look. The music they make, and style that they have, should be their own. To change or not change as they please. All the women who came before her got to grow & change in their own way, and time. She should have the time & space to do the same. And that change will come in time, but we all have to let her be the one to decide, when and what that will be.

Re: Nobody – Amen to that! Its her style, and her career, so it should be her choices and her opinions above all others! They need to leave her alone and let her live, and grow in her own space & time. All other do, sometimes we love the changes they go through, sometimes we wish they would stop. But you gotta let artists be who they are. You can't rush good talent or good fashion, it needs time and space to grow!
