Looks like Beck's girl is finally making the move to slash prices!
Hardly frugal fashionista Victoria Beckham may be ready to bring her high end brand to the masses…
By selling a clothing and lifestyle line to department stores a lá Jessica Simpson!
“Victoria has decided to branch her label out of its very upmarket roots. With plans to build a lifestyle brand later in the year, she’ll finally be able to crack the mid-range department store market that has made millions for stars like Jessica Simpson.”
Since making her design debut in 2008, Miz Beckham is reportedly realizing that this non-luxury market needs to be tapped—and she has a plan:
“She’s finally admitted to herself and her team that she’d like to conquer a store such as Macy’s and not just be known for high-end clothing. Her new strategy is to really show young women how they can live like her, not just dress like her. To do a big lifestyle brand, she needs to branch out, lower the prices, and get in the department stores.”
We love the idea of this fashion icon's brand hitting mid-level department stores.
With her structured clean lines and classic styling, it's sure to be a fashion win!
She's already begun to expand her empire by opening up a boutique in London, so this new venture would put her over the top!
#FingersCrossed this rumor becomes a reality!
