With superpowers like that, it’s only logical that she launch her own globally-accesable jewelry line.
Which is exactly what she’s in the process of doing with the help of teen-centric jewelry store, Claire’s. Such a purrrfet pairing for Miz Perry and her international KatyCats!
“When we survey our girls around the world, she’s the superstar that resonates globally. We’ve done smaller deals and always carried different products. Katy is our big one. Katy is designing a line of jewelry and accessories that she wanted to make for her fans. The overlap between her fans and the Claire’s customer is a great overlap. Katy is a very smart businesswoman and a great performer. She knows her brand very well. She has a definite aesthetic and point of view.”
Sounds like Katy’s the One That DIDN’T Get Away for this retailer!!
The sexy singer has signed on with the brand for two years, which will coincide with her Prism tour. Accordingly, her line will be called the Katy Perry Prism collection, and will be designed and curated by Katy. Claire’s says the sort of things we’ll be seeing are: limited edition items, seasonal pieces, collectibles, and stuff inspired by KayPer’s music.
Additionally, it sounds like she’ll be coming up with sassy new creations throughout the whole two-year duration — meaning there'll always be something new to look forward to!!
