Hollywood is used to seeing her blonde after her role in Wolf of Wall Street.
But she wasn’t always that way!!
Margot Robbie made headlines recently when she dyed her famous light tresses brown for a role in Z for Zachariah, but she was happy to make the switch!
In fact, she claims she was “devastated” when she had to go back to blonde!!
On her recent color change:
“Well I had to dye it brown for the role I just finished shooting in New Zealand and then on wrap I asked if we could just get the red out of it since I had to go to the Oscars. And we left it in for a little long and it went really dark. But it's great though, I love it. It's really fun.”
On if this is the first time she’s gone dark:
“No, I had it this color all through high school actually. I always dyed it dark in high school. I was devastated when I had to go blonde.”
On if she likes being blonde or brunette better:
“Well… once I was blonde for a couple of years I ended up loving it. But I don’t have a preference. I like both.”
On being at Paris Fashion Week:
“This is my first fashion show ever. It's amazing! I mean, we're in Paris. It's crazy.”
On her recent travels:
“I flew in from New Zealand the day before the Oscars, and then flew here to Paris the day after the Oscars, and go to London tomorrow, so it's a lot of traveling.“
On how she stays awake:
“I have no idea. My jet lag is getting a bit ridiculous. But, you know, it's first world problems. It's a wonderful problem, 'Oh I have to travel around the world, how awful.'”
On how the Oscars were:
“Great. A little overwhelming, but so exciting. Once the red carpet was out of the way, then I could have fun with everyone.”
On if the red carpet is scary:
On how she deals with the red carpet hecticness:
“I really don't. I just try to block out the noise. You stand in front of all the cameras and they're all yelling at you, quite aggressively, 'Look over your shoulder, look over there!' and they're all contradicting each other, so I just try and mute it all out. I just keep my head down until I'm ready, and then I look up and pose.”
Fortunately Margot looks stunning as a blonde OR brunette!!
So if she wants to stick to brown for a while, we totally support it.
Hey, we could even see her making a great redhead…just a thought, LOLz!
