While many people are bashing the fashion bible for putting the reality star on front of the highly-coveted glossy, turns out it only happened because Kimmy shut down not one, but TWO other cover offers.
Allegedly Vanity Fair was trying to snag her for one of their summer covers, but they were hesitant to commit quickly because their editorial staff was split on the matter.
Additionally, Harper’s Bazaar supposedly had a Kim kover in the works since last year, but the future Mrs. West ultimately refused the offer because HB wanted to use Terry Richardson as the photographer!
According to WWD (a very reputable source within the fashion industry), Kim was said to be “concerned” about the alleged sexual offender’s unethical behavior, even though she's been photographed by him in the past.
Even if you dislike Kim K, you have to admire her for sticking to her guns on that issue! Not everyone would do the same.
