Anti-Makeup? This Emotional Campaign Will Challenge Your Views On Self Expression!

| Filed under: Beauty BuzzAd CampaignsMakeup Magic!

People are more than just their outward appearance!!

And yet outward appearances are sometimes all that others see, making it hard for those with serious skin conditions to live their lives without feeling stared at or judged on a regular basis.

Dermablend, a heavy concealer used to cover tattoos, scars, and anything else regular makeup can't handle, opens the conversation about these kinds of situations in their latest ad campaign.

Cheri Lindsay, Cassandra Bankson, and Rick Genest all speak candidly about their unusual skin in the brand’s “Camo Confessions”, prompting an emotional response from many who understand where they're coming from.

Watch Cheri talk about her skin-pigment disorder, vitiligo, (above) and then see what Cassandra has to say about acne and Rico about tattoos …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Thank you SO MUCH Perez for posting this!! I have a portwine stain on my face too, and this was ABSOLUTELY INSPIRING FOR ME. So thanks a lot. And cudos to those brave people, not just the three, but all the ones who participate in this amazing campaign and expose themselves to the world in this vulnerable way for us, just to inspire people like me and let us know that we are not alone. Thanks to all from the bottom of my heart.

She is a beautiful girl with or without makeup. Definitely understand the pain of having devastating acne for years. Accutane is the only thing that worked for me, and truly was a miracle cure. Side effects can be severe and it's not an easy process, but it was so worth it for me. Recommend to anyone else out there suffering from painful cystic acne.
