Trouble in high-fashion paradise!
It seems like the public and media have finally calmed down after losing it over the Kimye Vogue cover, but now there's new controversy afoot!
Yeezy was already sued last year for sampling Rickey Spicer's vocals in Bound 2 without compensation, and now the high-fashion glossy is being sued by Spicer for including a part of the song that heavily features his vocals in the BTS video.
His civil suit against Vogue publisher Condé Nast states:
“Mr. Spicer’s voice is used substantially throughout the video, comprising approximately 44 percent of the lyrics.”
And that the magazine is guilty of “knowingly used the voice audio recording of Mr. Spicer without his authorization or consent.”
A bummer for Vogue, but we're sure Condé Nast's lawyers are on it!
