    OMG lighten up

Posing with an innocent animal that was killed as a trophy - is NOT A JOKE! Glad the sponsor realized that! Hunting is NOT NECESSARY in this day and age. Don't tell me the animals are over-populating…HUMANS ARE! Sigh. But thank you for a GOOD story!

So why does she hunt? My family hunts for sustenance. I know people who trophy hunt, and for some of them it is simply for the thrill of the kill. But when I see these entitled teenagers killing for sport I wonder what goes through their minds.

    Re: Pookie29 – Pookie29, you're an idiot. Go away.

That sucks but it's her own fault for posting that. A harsh reality check with being careful what you post online.

    Re: Pgeen
What has been said is that this girl must come from a pretty good family in terms of money as her Hunt Trips (where she kills endagered animals in africa) are all PAID FOR! You have to kill some specimens from time to time because of the genetics p.e., so people who are fans of hunting and would like to hunt an exotic animal PAY to be the ones to do the job. This hunts are made by the authorities and the people from the wildlife reaserves, it's a way to control hunting of this species and use it in a good way. Meat from the animals is given to vilages.

That's a pretty bold statement from L'Oreal considering they do still animal test, they just got around the EU ban on animal testing by testing the ingredients and not the finished product.

Re: JLo – There is definitely some sexism involved in the recent criticism of these two teenage girl hunters. But maybe if Speilberg put it on his face book page with stupid captions he would get slammed too.

I've only hunted birds which are good to eat (quail, geese, etc.). Don't think I could hunt an animal like this even if I could afford it, saw one giving birth a long time ago at the Wild Animal Park (now called Safari Park) in Escondido, 45 minute drive from San Diego. It was a beautiful thing to see. At the time they still had the trains and the driver stopped the train as long as she could, until another train was getting close.

They should've given her a PR rep to go along with that contract. They hired an inexperienced girl from a foreign country so she probably could've used the help.

I really hope you are not referring to that pic of him "killing" a dinosaur.

She didn't have a "contract" with L'Oréal to start with- she was only in a video of a local Belgian hairdresser who used l'Oréal products while styling her hair.

She looks pretty in those viral photographs… but then I saw the video of her and she was not even cute at all. Just a fluke I think.

Wtf is up with everybody against hunting? I'm not a hunter myself, but thanks to them animals aren't overpopulating and we are getting fed. Fucking ignorant people. As well for everyone direct indirect attacking Axelle, you're most likely an American since Belgium kicked your arse.

I don't like hunting or hunters, but the people at L'Oreal are hypocrites and liars. They're about the worst when it comes to animal testing. Anyone who researched the topic a bit knows that. That's also why, in the cruelty free world, people don't consider brands like Urban Decay cruelty free anymore, since they were bought by L'Oreal.
