Hiking the 4th most prominent peak in the world up to an elevation of 19,341 feet over the course of six days means blisters.
Or at least some sort of foot-oriented battle wound! Chipped nail polish? Foot sweat? Even a little redness would be acceptable!
But for some reason, when a woman named Rima Suqi decided to bid adieu to her 30s by hiking up the highest mountain in Africa and pose at the top wearing strappy heeled Gunmetal stilettos, a Nancey Chapman cocktail ring, and Chanel lipstick, her feet appeared to be in perfect condition.
In fact, they seemed to be in better condition than an average person’s feet on an average day!
She says once she reached the peak, she took her boots off to reign in her victory with a stylish pair of pumps, but we're seriously impressed how there's no evidence she was wearing hiking boots at any point before this photo was taken…no sock marks, nothing.
And then there's her toenails, which looked like they came fresh from a deluxe pedicure — flawlessly buffed and impeccably painted. Ummmm that's either a minor miracle or gel nail polish, right??
With this kind of foot care, she could have totally lied and said she climbed the whole thing in heels! HA! Okay, yeah right…
Congrats to you, girl, on being the first woman (that we know of) to think of taking a glam shot with stilettos up on the top of Kilimanjaro!
See more pics of her journey (above)!
