Whoa, what is going on here?! Are those real wolves???

We're getting all sorts of Where Have You Been and Disturbia vibes from this photo shoot of Rihanna in the September issue of W magazine!

And Princess Mononoke, of course!

From the face paint to the animal skull necklace, RiRi seemed to throw in every "tribal" cliche into this shoot, although she herself referred to the theme as "eskimo horror" as she tweeted:

"Eskimo Horror Cover Story @Wmag September Issue"

Um, yeah. Rih may have not realized using the term "eskimo" is considered offensive, but "horror" can definitely be appropriate in this case as it has to be her wildest, craziest fashion editorial yet! But it's not even the only one in the magazine!

She also has an epic spread with Naomi Campbell and Iman, with all of them in Balmain!

Check out the full spread, including the picture with the wolves, in the gallery (above)! And then tell us what you think!

Just an FYI…"Eskimo" is not an acceptable term anymore: use "Inuit".

Re: Amanduh – Agreed. And there is nothing remotely Inuit about these photos. There are trees - Inuit don't live near trees.
