Well, the dress has been found ... to be a fake!
The thief who took the gown says he took the dress from Lupita's room at The London after finding the door ajar.

Remember that time Urban Outfitters was criticized for selling a shirt with a patch resembling the Star Of David, similar to the one Jewish people were forced to wear under Hitler's reign in Nazi Germany?
Well, apparently Zara doesn't remember that incident, because they recently tried to sell a shirt with a comparable patch.
Unfortunately, Zara's version was much, much worse because the six-pointed star was yellow and sewn onto blue and white striped fabric — which just happens to make the shirt look almost identical to the uniforms Jewish prisoners had to wear in WWII concentration camps.
Obviously customers were outraged, but Zara was quick to respond via Twitter:
@mcamk We honestly apologize, the T-shirt was inspired by the sheriff’s stars from the Classic Western films and is no longer in our stores
— ZARA (@ZARA) August 27, 2014
It's still flabbergasting that the shirt made it to stores in the first place, but at least Zara's promptness in resolving the matter is admirable!
You can see a photo of the shirt in question (above), and compare it photos of actual concentration camp uniforms and badges HERE.
