Like father, like daughter!
Donald Trump is no stranger to lawsuits, and now Ivanka Trump can claim the same! How exciting.

The businesswoman is being sued by Aquazurra for copying their "Wild Thing" tasseled sandal down to even minor details. However, it should be noted that fashion designs are not protected by copyright law, which makes it easy for knockoffs to go without being challenged in the marketplace.
That's probably why Ivanka & Co. weren't too worried when they totally copied the Aquazurra shoe!
Note the similarities between Ivanka's "Hettie" sandal on the left and the "Wild Thing" shoe on the right (below):
Not only do both shoes have the same silhouette and color, but they also have the same fringe detail on the vamp and tassel detail on the ankle strap.
Matthew Burris, the CFO of Ivanka's licensing company issued this statement:
"This is a baseless lawsuit aimed at generating publicity. The shoe in question is representative of a trending fashion style, is not subject to intellectual property law protection and there are similar styles made by several major brands. The lawsuit is without merit and we will vigorously defend ourselves against the claim."
We suppose the courts will have to decide!
Do YOU think Ivanka's shoe is a blatant copy???
