On Snapchat Thursday, Kyles shared a short clip of herself inside an empty store and said:
We're gonna be seasick.
Johnny Depp is currently wrapped up in the most tumultuous divorce of the year, and once again, his prominent industry peers don't seem to care very much about Amber Heard's disturbing domestic abuse claims.
Disney CEO Bob Iger became the latest Hollywood power player to speak out about the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's personal problems on Wednesday… but he seems almost too lackadaisical about the whole ordeal.
The 65-year-old businessman sat down with The Hollywood Reporter this week to discuss the grand opening of Shanghai Disneyland Park, but when the topic of Jack Sparrow's role in the Pirates ride came up, Bob didn't seem at all bothered by the drama.
In fact, while Bob doesn't necessarily think the public is going to forget about Amber's accusations anytime soon… he's not that worried about their effect on the Pirates brand:
The 53-year-old has been hiding out on his private island in the Bahamas (not too shabby, if you ask us) since wrapping the European leg of his tour with The Hollywood Vampires.
Depp supposedly avoided going back to El Lay after the hearing for Heard's temporary restraining order was extended to August.
A source tells People:
"Johnny was very nervous about the court date. He really didn't want to return to L.A. for court. He was very relieved that his lawyer was able to figure things out for now."
And for now, the Black Mass star doesn't have plans to return to the States until his tour picks back up in July:
"He has no plans to return to L.A. He misses nothing about L.A. but his kids, and they are visiting him in the Bahamas."
The insider adds:
As we previously reported, the actress alleges her estranged ex was abusive, even citing several incidents. While her restraining order hearing has been postponed, new details are coming out about the two's relationship.
According to E!, one of the actors' "biggest fights" occurred because Amber confronted him about possibly being unfaithful to her.
A source revealed of the big blow-up:
"Johnny had a night out and Amber had a feeling he had been with someone. She questioned him about it and he blew up at her, got in her face yelling, chased her upstairs. Amber was scared."
The 53-year-old "didn't admit to anything," and when he apologized for how he reacted, "she ultimately forgave him."
And as far as Johnny's ex and baby momma Vanessa Paradis knows, any claims he was violent are "outrageous." While she hasn't spoken out since issuing her letter in his defense back in May, an insider close to the French model dished:
Doug Stanhope will NOT keep quiet!
On Monday, Doug visited the Howard Stern Show to discuss Amber Heard's defamation lawsuit against him. The blonde first filed the suit earlier this month after the comedian penned an op-ed defending Johnny Depp against abuse allegations.
Naturally, Ambs was NOT a fan of the message and she quickly slapped Mr. Stanhope with a suit. Now D.S. has spoken out again to reiterate his suspicions of Heard in addition to chalking up the legal issue as "spite".
To sum up just how bitter Stanhope is over the defamation issue, he started off the convo by declaring:
"Anything that I say, they can twist my words. It's such a bulls–t suit."
While the 49-year-old never intended to cause a major sh*t storm by his post, the media blew it up into such a big deal that the actress couldn't help but catch wind of it:
"I put it on my website. The title was ‘At a Loss for Words' … whatever it was. TheWrap got it as an exclusive, however that worked, and said, ‘Amber Heard Is Blackmailing Johnny Depp — This Is How I Know.' I didn't write that f–king title. I didn't put that stupid tabloid title in there. I'm a better writer than that, so I don't know if it's hinged on that, I don't know how much of it is spite."
Hmm… if Stanhope didn't use the phrase "blackmail" himself, then we wonder how much of a case the beauty has. Otherwise, all the California resident did was retell his version of events.
To make matters even more complicated, Doug claimed he doesn't have any money for the Texas native to take from him, joking:
It's no secret Amber Heard has had a lot going on this month!
The actress has been the subject of media headlines over her divorce/domestic abuse legal battle with estranged husband Johnny Depp — and it looks like all the drama is starting to take a physical toll.
Heard was unable to give a deposition during a court hearing on Friday because she was supposed to be in London for a costume fitting for her role in the upcoming Justice League movie.
But according to TMZ, the 30-year-old never even showed up to the fitting. As it turns out, she was apparently so skinny that production crew asked to reschedule!
Due to what she says is overwhelming stress, the already thin actress reportedly lost
In a previous report, we revealed Amber and Johnny were allegedly close to a settlement in their divorce/domestic abuse drama. Now it looks like Us Weekly has confirmed this rumor after they checked in with the Los Angeles County Courts.
According the source at the court house, the exes have
According to TMZ, the Johnny and Amber's lawyers are requesting that Friday's court hearing over a permanent restraining order be postponed.
Per the legal reps, they believe a settlement between the dueling exes is near. Essentially, neither Depp or Heard want their dirty laundry revealed to the public.
If a settlement goes through, the former lovers will have resolved EVERYTHING including the final details of their divorce, spousal support, and their domestic abuse dispute. The agreement would mean that A.H. couldn't file a civil suit against the actor for domestic abuse in the future.
What's particularly interesting about this development is that Amber had given up her request for spousal support to prove that she's steadfast in her campaign to hold J.D. accountable for his alleged crimes. A settlement would mean that not only is she getting the money she originally wanted, but it would also mean that nothing would come of her domestic abuse platform.
As for why the two ultimately decided to hash things out themselves, we suspect neither party wanted to testify in court. It could be that the exes BOTH have something to hide.
We'll keep you updated as this case progresses.
