Eminem's ex-wife Kim Mathers revealed on Wednesday that her alleged drunk driving accident last October was actually an attempt to take her own life.
The 41-year-old called into the Detroit radio show Mojo in the Morning earlier today to explain why her DUI case documents were sealed, unlike an average drunken driving court case — which led people to believe she was getting preferential treatment from authorities.
Kim said the only reason the docs were sealed is because they contained personal information about her medical health.

A coroner has confirmed that Eminem's sister-in-law has died at 41-years-old. Dawn Scott was found dead in Michigan on Tuesday.
The sister of the 43-year-old's ex-wife Kim Mathers was discovered unconscious at a residence in Macomb County. Also with her was an emaciated elderly woman who was brought to the hospital.

Warren Mayor James Fouts believes the death of the musician's relative was caused by drugs, saying:
"It's suspected to be drug use, possibly heroin."
However, we won't know for sure until the toxicology results are complete.
This must be particularly tough for the artist because Dawn was the biological mother of his adopted daughter Alaina Scott.
His former flame penned a touching tribute to her late sister on her online obituary page, writing:
