Atencion!

Simon Cowell is looking for the next One Direction … with Latin flavor!

The man behind acts like 1D and Fifth Harmony has teamed up with Sony Music and Univision in search of ultimate Latin boy band in La Banda. Think Menudo for the 21st Century!

Auditions are open now on www.LaBandaoficial.com or through Facebook. Contestants will compete for a place in La Banda and a recording with Sony Music Latin and Cowell's label, Syco Music.

Hopefuls should live in the United States or Puerto Rico and be over the age of 14.

Cowell is looking forward to La Banda:

"I'm very excited about this show. There is a huge amount of talent out there and 'La Banda' is going to give five guys the opportunity of a lifetime."

Considering the boys of 1D were just a bunch of unknowns before Cowell's magic touch, we predict big things for La Banda!

Buena suerte!
