We're kind of surprised it took them this long!
Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel have been separated since December 2013, but finally quietly filed their divorce papers in New York back in November 2014.
All of their issues, like splitting up ca$$$h and time with their five-year-old son Walter, were quickly finalized by December 3rd, which is when they officially became divorced.
The couple was married for 10 years, and their public lives seem to confirm that the split was amicable, since Taye hit the BET Awards red carpet with a woman who wasn't his still-wife. A source also said they're committed to raising their son in as peaceful a way as possible.
We'd have to say they're off to a great start!
It's sad to see them split, but at least everything seems friendly between them!

Show 'em girl!
Idina Menzel recently faced a lot of criticism after her New Years Eve performance in Times Square. Basically, people weren't thrilled with her her high notes during a rousing rendition of Let It Go from the mega popular movie Frozen.
A lot of people took to the internet afterwards to write about their gripes with Menzel's vocal work, and we guess the superstar performer heard it all because she recently took to Instagram to share one inspiring message for anyone that's going through an equally tough time!
Here's what the message said:
Well, the list is officially in and we're not ALL that surprised by the results!
Did YOUR favorite film of 2014 (and 2013!) get named one of the most pirated films of the year?
You'd better hope not! Though, let's be real for a minute, it probably did!
From snow queens to Oscar-winners to Captain America, NO ONE was safe from the hands of hackers!

New Year's Eve is nearly upon us, which means it's time to get ready to par-tay!
And even if you can't be in New York City or Los Angeles to take part in the iconic New Year's Rockin' Eve, not to worry! You can enjoy all of the festivities from home.
This year, the lineup of artists includes 2014's biggest names, so of course One Direction is the headliner in Hollywood! They'll perform four songs: Story of My Life, What Makes You Beautiful, Steal my Girl, and Night Changes.
And Taylor Swift will lead the party in Times Square, performing a medley of her hits! Welcome to New York and Shake It Off have to be some of the choices, right?!
Ch-ch-check out the rest of the list (below) — as well as a special surprise performer at the Billboard Hollywood Party!
She's SO good!
Idina Menzel had one heck of a performance on the Today show on Christmas Day, and the snow in New York City made it the perfect time for a performance White Christmas on the morning extravaganza!
We bet Idina is happy to sing anything other than her fantastic songs from Frozen - that song is awesome, but we bet that is a request that she gets A LOT these days.
But when it comes to Christmas - there's nothing better than some seasonal classics sung by some classy ah-mazing ladies.
Check out the performance (below) !!!
Could you love her any more?!
Maybe after you watch this interview!
We got the chance to catch up with Idina Menzel at the Billboard Women In Music Awards on Friday and she was a doll — as usual!!!
We asked her about the upcoming season of Glee (will she reprise her role as Lea Michele's mom Shelby Corcoran?) and what her favorite memories from the show are.
And we made sure to air a grievance too! LOLz!
Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
P.S. Congrats on her Breakthrough Artist of the Year award!
