Jimmy Kimmel has a HIGHlarious portion of his show, which consists of celebrities reading mean tweets written about them (stars like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, Katy Perry, etc.). Except most of the tweets…are actually written by the writers of the show. Sadface.

It looks like the first few segments he aired did indeed consist of mostly real tweets, but after that, the amount of ‘realness’ quickly decreased. The most recent episodes contain tweets that are all totally FAKED.

This is slightly sad, because it kind of ruins the entire point of the segment, but we will admit that it doesn’t stop the HIGHlarity!! Meaning that we will still watch celebrities reading mean things about themselves aloud even knowing it's all totes made up.

And hey, it’s not like those tweets couldn’t exist! As Jimmy points out, people tweet mean stuff about celebs ALL THE TIME.

Maybe it hurts the stars' feelings less to know that they’re reading a writer’s fictional work instead of a non-fan’s true feelings, ha!!

Holy hot musical collaboration!!

As if The Rolling Stones weren't hot enough on their own, they upped the ante and set Las Vegas on fire when they brought Katy Perry out for a duet!

Yup, our little Katy Kat brought her booming voice and bangin' bod to Vegas to join The Stones for Beast of Burden.

And gurlfriend sooo gave legendary Mick Jagger a run for his money.

You KNOW she brought the sass!

Katy Perry is quite the popular one!

The singer further put frenemy rumors to bed as she spent last night enjoying herself at Rihanna’s NYC concert! She tweeted the following emoji-filled message:

Two nights before, Katy caught up with fellow singer and No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani at The Great Gatsby after party held at the Top of the Standard!

Add in Monday night's Met Gala, and it sounds like Katy's been quite the party poppin' week! Hope you've been having fun, lady!

Punk is NOT dead — not yet!!

The theme for this year's 2013 Met Gala was punk-friggin'-tastic, but some celebz obviously never grasped the concept!!

The super preggo Kim Kardashian, for instance, said she was shooting for "romantic punk" with her look!

Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, loves the punk scene so much she played Joan Jett in The Runaways!

And Lena Dunham? Well, the Girls' star's dog ate a PIN during her fitting, which is the most punk rock thing ever!

The Met Gala came and went in a whirlwind of fashion activity on Monday night!

We had the good and the bad, but we also had some conspicuous trends.

That quintessential punk staple — the safety pin — found its way onto Carey Mulligan's dress and Zooey Deschanel's clutch.

Paloma Faith, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katy Perry rocked the headpieces, which was a golden crown in Katy's case!

Paloma also got on the gloved-sleeve trend along with Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Kerry Washington.

Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Cara Delevingne and January Jones were all rocking some major ear bling and cuffs while Jessica Biel and Karen Elson opted for small little septum rings.

Quite a few lovely ladies showed off the fruits of their workout regimes in belly-baring numbers, like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Wilde, Nicki Minaj, and Miranda Kerr.

Then there were the rebels, like Anna Wintour and new bestie Kimmy, who wore very non-punk floral gowns.

Maybe they were the most punk of all! LOLz!

Last week, Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy fell off, but during last night's episode, the duo not only get back on top, but they also got a perfect score!!

Monday night's episode of Dancing with the Stars consisted of regular partner dances, but to add a little spice to the segment, trio dances were also incorporated.

The Disney star and her partner Val received 28 points for their foxtrot, and once they got together with Gleb Savchenko, they garnered a PERFECT score of 30 out of 30!!!

Be still our throbbing heart!

Katy Perry is the QUEEN of the Met Gala tonight!

The 28-year-old was emitting some majorly Madonna vibes in her icon-print, glittery Dolce & Gabbana gown complete with a gold Dolce & Gabbana crown atop her flowing locks.

Gorgeous! We want to stare at it for HOURS!

Katy, you win at life!
