Unlike many 16-year-olds on a Sunday night, Lorde hit the
red black carpet at the ARIA Awards in Sydney, Australia.
And she made sure to deliver!
The Royals singer opted for a black Ellery gown, which she simply accessorized with silver bracelets.
Though it was her slicked-back ponytail paired with dark, smokey eyes and an even darker, purple pout that polished off Lorde's monochromatic ensem.

Lorde recently made some comments about Drake and Nicki Minaj that were interpreted by and large as a diss, but now she wants to throw some light on that shade!
The Royals singer said she found their lyrical content - primarily about living large - to be irrelevant.
Lorde doesn't deny the quote, but swears she is being misinterpreted by the media! She tweeted:
As if her song Royals couldn't be any better!
Lorde performed a hauntingly incredible version of Royals (above) and her other song Biting Down (below) for VEVO.
The 17 year-old singer also had some interesting moves when she was performing both of those songs!
Maybe that's where Rihanna got her inspiration for her dance when she performed Diamonds at the AMAs on Sunday!
