Both singers wore the body-hugging number in a way that meshed with their personal styles, but we wanna know…

Our fave Kiwi was back and better than ever at The BRITs today!
But Lorde's was floor-length, and she paired it with chunky platform shoes instead of the matching Tom Ford boots.
Keep the glitzy looks coming, ladies!!

What happens when Lorde and Disclosure take the stage at the same time?
We can't so for certain, but we're pretty sure somewhere in the world a White Teeth Teen gets a free pair of glow sticks!
The 17-year-old pop star teamed up with the house duo at the 2014 BRIT Awards and put on an incredibly funky remixed version of Royals!
Then, Disclosure was joined by AlunaGeorge to perform White Noise!!
Ch-ch-check out the ravey performance (above)!
Dat mane!! It’s incredible!!!
The pensive black and white photo was taken by famed fashion photographers Inez and Vinoodh. And while she appears to be the sole cover star, she's not!
They all have their own equally pensive covers — check 'em out (below)!!

Listening to Lorde’s hit single Royals, one might think she had hip-hop superstar T-Pain in mind when she penned lyrics like, “gold teeth, Grey Goose, trippin' in the bathroom,” or "Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece, jet planes, islands, tigers on a gold leash.”
Because…yeah that all sounds like stuff straight out of a T-Pain music video!
But as anti-excess as Lorde’s lyrics are, it doesn’t mean T-Pain has to maintain her message when he covers the song!
He don’t care! He’s driving Cadillacs in his…real life!
The auto-tune master reworked the pop smash with some new words praising the royal lifestyle, including a HIGHlarious new chorus that includes the lines:
We're pretty sure our highlight of middle school was leaving middle school, but that wasn't so for this pre-teen lady!
There's a video of the youngin' performing with her band Extreme in her middle school's Battle of the Bands back in 2009, and the New Zealand native's performance brings the crowd to their feet!
It's clear that even back then she was well on her way to stardom!!! In fact - her 12-year-old self matches up pretty well with her 17-year-old self.
The most unbelievable part about this performance? Their set only placed third overall.
How you like her NOW, middle school judges?!
Check out this crazy young slash great performance… AFTER THE JUMP!!!
