We wonder if the company CEO also volunteered!
That's right, volunteer as in "free!"
Not cool. Especially since many salaried employees already work longer than 40 hours a week without getting paid more.

As dog lovers ourselves, we hate to hear a sad story like this.
This one is about a sweet grey pit bull-terrier named Lucy, who is more than meets the eye.
She's not only the door greeter at Westside Pet Clinic in Santa Monica, California where her owner (and mom!) Dr. Antje Hinz is the medical director, but she also helps out there to keep other animals calm during their visits — just check out how sweet she is with a cute kitten patient (above).
More than that however, she's held a much bigger role in Dr. Hinz's life. Lucy is also Hinz's registered emotional support service dog who helped her during her 5-year aggressive breast cancer battle. She calls Lucy her Buddha and purpose to keep going.
Unfortunately, while Hinz was on a trip to Germany with her boyfriend and Lucy's other owner, Finneus Egan, Lucy went missing from her petsitter's home in Venice, California on September 7.
We can't imagine going through that heartbreaking situation, but while Lucy was strong for her owner during her cancer battle, Lucy's family is being strong for her and staying determined to bring her home safely.
You can check out all they've been doing to find her through a Facebook page dedicated to the search HERE. And you can also find more info on their Instagram for Lucy HERE. They want to get the word out on their missing dog, and hope that the right person will see this information and help.
They've even received help from E! News' Maria Menounos, who is a client and friend of Hinz. She's been helping with the search through her own social media, as well as hitting the pavement with Lucy's owners to reach out to locals for any possible leads:
In the October Issue of Redbook Magazine, the TV host got candid about what happened when it was announced back in July that she was tapped to replace the longtime E! news anchor.
As we previously reported, the 37-year-old recently shared:
"When I was being sought after by E!, I made it very clear to them that I didn't want to be coming over to take somebody's job. And I was assured that wasn't the case."
Initially, when the news broke, it was said that the two entertainment journalists were entangled in a feud over how the departure went down. Yikes!
Nonetheless, the network's since shot down any rumors about bad blood between the two industry veterans. Which makes sense, since the reality TV star still works at the network as a co-host for Fashion Police.
Miz Menounos attempted to clarify that she only ever had the best intentions when accepting the coveted position.
Can we say #GOALS much?!
Gabrielle Union, Erin Andrews, and Maria Menounos are three powerhouses who are redefining what it means to "have it all." In the October anti-aging issue of Redbook, these awe-inspiring ladies address dating younger guys, beauty secrets, and the struggle to balance career and family.
Gabi, 42 — yes, 42! — is nine years older than husband Dwayne Wade. The Being Mary Jane actress says age ain't nothin' but a number for her and the basketball star.
But when it comes to prioritizing career over having a family, she says:
Now, the pop culture news show has officially announced that Menounos will be joining the team with Jason Kennedy, Terrence Jenkins, and Catt Sadler!
But that's not the only new addition to E! News! Three new correspondents — Zuri Hall, Erin Lim, and Sibley Scoles — will appear regularly on the show in addition to the digital series E! News Now!
Before snagging this expanded role, Menounos served as a fill in anchor on E! News along with co-hosting Extra with Mario Lopez.
The 37-year-old was also previously a correspondent on Access Hollywood and Today, so we think her credentials speak for themselves!
While Rancic's final day on the cable news show is August 10, she still plans to stay at E! co-hosting Fashion Police and the channel's Live From the Red Carpet award show coverage!
Are you excited for the new additions!?

E! News didn't look far to find Giuliana Rancic's replacement.
Maria Menounos will be stepping in for the outgoing anchor, sources confirm to us EXCLUSIVELY.
Giuliana made the announcement she was leaving E! News on Wednesday night. She will still be on the network though, hosting Live From The Red Carpet and Fashion Police.
It's been a rough year for the 40-year-old. She came under fire for comments she made about Zendaya's hair on Fashion Police, which ultimately resulted in cohosts Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne departing the show.
Her 37-year-old replacement is no stranger to entertainment news; Maria hosted Extra for many years before joining E!
Both women have their lives documented on reality TV series as well. There's even rumors of a rivalry between the two, which the network has shot down.
Will you miss Giuliana in the anchor chair, or are you ready for a change?

Earlier today, Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death for his involvement in the Boston Marathon bombings more than two years ago.
While not everyone agrees on the sentencing, it didn't take long for people to share their thoughts and opinions on the emotional trial.
