Boy, Snoop Dogg has had a tough week in Europe!
First, last weekend, he was detained in Sweden after police believed him to be driving under the influence of drugs.
And now, in Italy, he was stopped at the airport with tons of cash — and had half of it taken away by customs authorities!
Snoop was stopped by customs agents at Lamezia Terme Airport on Saturday with the dough — and it was a crazy amount of money!
Well, Snoop Dogg finds himself in some international legal hot water!
Police in Uppsala, Sweden pulled the rapper's car over on Saturday after he finished his concert in the city. They arrested and booked the rapper, alleging he was driving under the influence of narcotics.
According to police captain Daniel Nilsson, the incident sounded pretty simple from their perspective:
As we previously reported, on Monday Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested at UCLA after he got into a fight with one of his son's football coaches. The alleged victim is said to be strength and conditioning coach, Sal Alosi.
It's said that the duo got into an altercation after the famous Dad came to complain that Alosi was too hard on the rapper's son, Justin Combs — who's a defensive back for the Division 1 school.
Diddy allegedly attacked Alosi with a kettlebell and threatened the coach — and the five or six people it took to supposedly contain the situation. The upset initially was said to have resulted in a felony charge.
However, it's since been updated that the Ciroc-lover has been charged with
Snoop Dogg sure has a habit of saying some of the worst possible things lately.
Now, his controversial comments are being captured on camera.
Snoop was being interviewed in Canada recently about his work on the 10th season of the country's popular show, Trailer Park Boys.
But, when asked about the hospitality he's seen from our neighbors to the north, he immediately changed the subject to the CBC camerawoman, Stephanie Clattenburg, saying:
"Hospitality's been awesome, baby. I like the cameragirl, too. She's thick. Damn."
Oy vey. It gets worse, too. He added:
"Look at the s*** on that critter."
Come on, Snoop. Really?
Needless to say, Stephanie was none too pleased about being catcalled on the job. See Snoop's full comment as well as the camerawoman's response (below)!
Are you ready for the ultimate '90s rap throwback???
The wait for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is over because the flick is set to be released in theaters this August! And if that's not enough, this month Ice Cube is reuniting MOST of the surviving members of the iconic rap group to perform for the first time in 15 years!
The rapper slash actor is excited to get the group back together for a one night show, which is part of the four-day BET Experience festival.
The 45-year-old was confident the band was "gonna rock that sh*t, no problem," but not ALL of the surviving members may be present for the performance!
When asked if former group member Dr. Dre would make an appearance, the Friday star said:
The snap, while it featured a shot of Akon, read:
"Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isn't major news but that science project bruce jenner is #Society."
So disappointing. Even if he didn't make the picture, sharing it is just as bad.
It's awesome what Akon is doing, but there's absolutely NO reason to belittle someone's life.
He has yet to delete the post, but we're hoping that he issues a formal apology to Caitlyn and the transgender community. Ch-ch-check out Snoop's post (below)!
California Roll is the lead track off of the rapper's upcoming album Bush, and the video pays homage to Snoop's home state in a charming time-travel vignette!
Opening in a Los Angeles movie theater in 1946, the audience gets more than they bargain for after they are told they are going on a journey into the future — and the film ends up being a futuristic simulator ride!
The bumpy ignition turns into a smooth drift as Pharrell appears on the screen decked out in a gold robe. Snoop joins in next, driving in a flying yellow convertible while Wonder sits shotgun.
Check out the video (above) to see the futuristic pyramids of Hollywood and Snoop's 4D joint penetrate through the projector screen (the technology for which patent pending).
