Jack Donaghy may have never wanted to get with Liz Lemon in 30 Rock, but the same can't be said for Alec Baldwin when he first laid eyes on Tina Fey.

In fact, when the 58-year-old actor met the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt creator for the first time, he "fell in love"!

Appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair's April issue, the veteran actor reflected on his Saturday Night Live history — including the first time he was introduced to his future sitcom costar.

In an adaption from his upcoming memoir Nevertheless, Baldwin recounts:

"When I first met Tina Fey — beautiful and brunette, smart and funny, by turns smug and diffident and completely uninterested in me or anything I had to say — I had the same reaction that I'm sure many men and women have: I fell in love."

At the time, Fey was the head writer at SNL and Baldwin was set to host that week's show.

The writers and producers congregated in Lorne Michaels' office when Baldwin turned to talent coordinator Marci Klein to ask if Fey was single. He wrote:

Jimmy Fallon Kicks Off The 2017 Golden Globes With A Star-Studded La La Land-Inspired Opening Number — And Gives Us A Stranger Things Surprise!

The City of Stars must be empty — because they're ALL busy singing and dancing in Jimmy Fallon's insane Golden Globes opening number!

Everyone from Amy Adams and Ryan Reynolds to Evan Rachel Wood and the kids of Stranger Things (#BarbIsStillAlive!) help Jimmy with a La La Land-inspired song-and-dance celebrating all things movies and TV!

Then it all leads to a romantic interlude with old pal Tina Fey Justin Timberlake!

Video: Justin & Jimmy PROVE They're BFFs By Singing Ironic

Unfortunately, that's when it breaks down — first the teleprompter breaks, then Jimmy does his Chris Rock impression. Ha!

But he redeems himself with some harsh jokes toward Donald Trump, Matt Damon, and more. We like a mean Fallon!

Ch-ch-check out the whole opening (above)!

Golden Globes hosts are notorious for relentlessly skewering the nominees and other members of Hollywood's elite attending the glamorous (but open bar) event.

But since this year's ceremony will be hosted by Mr. Nice Guy himself, Jimmy Fallon made it clear no one in the room should be nervous of being hit too hard.

Though that can't be said for Donald Trump! In case you hadn't heard, Fallon teased he might make a crack or two during Sunday's show, telling The Hollywood Reporter:

"The whole night won't focus on [Trump], but it will be a week before the inauguration, so it will be on everyone's mind… It's the first and maybe the last party that we'll have in 2017."

We can see the President-elect's shady reaction tweets already!

Sure, Jimmy isn't known for delivering verbal stings like Ricky Gervais or Tina Fey, but we hope at least one of his Trump digs makes up for that awful hair-tousling incident on The Tonight Show.

See what memorable Golden Globes burns Fallon has to live up to (below) — and watch the live show on Sunday at 4 p.m. EST on NBC!

"I have been trying so hard to do a Mean Girls 2. It is not in my hands. I know Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount [Pictures] are very busy. But I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it… I would love to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the movie. I've already written a treatment for it, so I just need a response."

- Lindsay Lohan speaking to CNN on her future in film and if she would ever go back to playing comedic roles.

It's been another amazing year at the box office — you know, for movies about superheroes!

But otherwise, even some of the most anticipated blockbusters severely underperformed in the box office!

Despite being a mockumentary solely about spoofing Justin Bieber, Andy Samberg's POPSTAR: Never Stop Never Stopping fell flat, and well… stopped stopping right in theaters.

Speaking of big screen duds from SNL alumni — Tina Fey's war-zone dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot also flew under the radar in a year of superheroes, and unfortunately became another box office bomb.

And not even Sacha Baron Cohen's action comedy The Brothers Grimsby was able to make decent earnings in a post-Borat world! Yeesh!
