| Filed under: Tech TalkScary!Viral: News

She never sleeps.

Go to sleep, Alexa… you're eavesdropping again.

A Portland, Oregon couple says their Amazon Echo recorded a private conversation and emailed the audio to one of their random contacts.

A woman, who only identified herself as Danielle, told KIRO7 that she and her husband synced their home with Amazon devices until about two weeks ago when the couple received an unsettling phone call.

The caller, an employee of Danielle's husband, reportedly told them:

"Unplug your Alexa devices right now. You're being hacked."

The couple were hesitant to believe the man when he said he heard their conversation, but then grew alarmed when the employee said he heard them talking about hardwood floors.

They immediately unplugged the devices — and Danielle doesn't ever plan on plugging Alexa back in. She told the station:

It sounds like Rachel Dolezal is about to identify as a felon.

The former president of the NAACP's Spokane, Washington chapter rose to infamy when it was revealed she was posing as an African American.

The spotlight brought more scrutiny, as it often does *cough*Trump*cough*, and someone at the Department of Social and Health Services noticed gurl had a book deal but only reported $300/month income. Huh?

After a yearlong investigation, Dolezal — sorry, Nkechi Diallo, as she prefers — is facing charges of welfare fraud, perjury, and false verification for public assistance.

Yep. She was getting welfare. While also depositing about $84K into her back account over the course of two years, according to investigators.

Just another reason she's one of those celebs we just wish we'd never heard of…

This feels like a publicity stunt…

Nicki Minaj told fans on Instagram Thursday that she is dating Eminem… all after she released a song with YG called Big Bank.

The 35-year-old artist teases in the lyrics:

"Told em' I met Slim Shady, bag the EM / Once he go black, he'll be back again"

When a fan asked in the comments if she was dating the 45-year-old rapper, Nicki simply responded with, "Yes."

Real-Life Failure To Launch Ends With Parents Suing To Kick Their 30-Year-Old Son Out Of The House!

no title

When Michael Rotondo's parents decided he needed to get out of their house already, they unfortunately didn't have access to Sarah Jessica Parker.

So they just used the law.

Mark and Christina Rotondo sued to evict their adult son, who moved back in with them 8 years ago after losing a job. They claim he does not help with family expenses or household chores.

ABC7 reports the desperate parents told the court they tried to get him to leave beginning on February 2, even offering him $1,100 to get started on his own — but he wouldn't leave.

Michael argued to the judge that he hadn't been given enough time, but State Supreme Court Justice Donald Greenwood wasn't buying it. After the 30-year-old refused the chance to work things out with his own parents who were present in court, Greenwood ordered him to vacate the premises.

The evictee then told reporters he thought the ruling was "outrageous" — and that he would appeal the decision so that he could continue to stay in his room and not talk to his parents.

That doesn't sound alright alright alright to us. How about you??
