Well, it looks like at least one part of this ongoing drama is no more.
Now, though, sources tell

For the past year, the Backstreet Boys have been playing games with fans' hearts by teasing the possibility of a residency in Las Vegas.
On Friday, the boys announced they are headlining an exclusive residency show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino appropriately titled Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life!
Kicking off March 1, 2017, the show features all five members — Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson — performing their hits from the days of yore!
And fans better get excited, because the fellas are promising one unforgettable performance. Brian said in a press release:
Well this news is just grand(e)!
According to reports, the pop star and businessman have been working together again since early September — but Republic Records only just confirmed the reconciliation on Friday (coincidentally the same day Ariana's new song They Don't Know off the Trolls soundtrack dropped)!
However, this partnership isn't exactly news to diehard Arianators… Scooter was spotted at Ariana's appearances at both The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week, after all.
It's currently unclear what led to their reunion, but we're just glad he's back in time for Hairspray Live!
Do U think Scooter and Ariana work in harmony??

Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer is officially divorced, single, free, and down for whatever after wrapping up the very last legal docs standing in between her and freedom from ex Mario Singer!
It took her a full year to do it, but after tweaking language in the divorce agreement, Ramona is now finally a completely free woman!
She told Us Weekly about it on Thursday, confirming that a judge has signed off on her last divorce docs, and saying:
What would we do without Anna Kendrick?!
And it turns out the blonde beauty's elbow defense was even enough to change Miz Kendrick's signature cynical tone into one of adoration for her fellow fierce female!
Ch-ch-check out the 31-year-old's pitch-perfect reaction (below)!
If you're anything like us, then you are greatly missing Daisy Ridley's presence on Instagram!
While many people thought the British beauty left the social media site over the unsought internet hate, Miz Ridley has since revealed her departure was because of something much deeper. During her appearance at the Student Academy Awards in El Lay, the 24-year-old noted:
During her Thursday night NYC stop on her Adele Live 2016 tour, the soulful singer told the audience at Madison Square Garden that she couldn't care less that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have broken up.
The pop powerhouse explained:
"I would like to say I think it's a bit sick you're reporting on an absolute joke. I don't care if they've broken up. I couldn't give a f*cking sh*t. I don't care. I don't know them."
Apparently, when Adele dedicated her Tuesday night show to the "end of an era," she was being totally sarcastic, and she's actually pretty pissed about how much media attention the messy split has received, adding:
"It's ridiculous, what's going on in the world, and that's front-page news."
