R. Kelly performed at the Soul Train Awards, closing the show on Sunday night and as usual bringing down the house.
But it appears the singer may have (finally?) worn out his welcome amongst a sizable portion of the public, judging by a flurry of online debate.
Kelly, of course, was charged and tried in Illinois back in the mid-2000s for crimes relating to sex with an underage girl.
In 2008, he was eventually found not guilty on all 14 counts in a jury trial at the end of a long legal battle, but it didn't stop fans on social media from questioning his position as a public figure this weekend.
As for Sunday's performance itself, Kelly wasn't specifically controversial. See clips (below):
Another selfie, another day.
On Saturday, the Don't Be Tardy matriarch took to the social media site to share a snap of herself and her daughters (above) from when she was backstage at the Dancing With The Stars finale.
"Don't know what I'd do without you two @arianabiermann @briellebiermann #MyStrength #MyBiggestFans #MyPrincesses."
Totally harmless, right? Wrong.
Apparently many of the blonde beauty's fans were upset with the way her 18-year-old was dressed. One fan even commented:
"Why! Why! Why would you be OK with sexualizing your teens. For crying out loud, stop them from dressing like little sluts, your an adult they are little girls. Shame on you."
Dang, tell us how you really feel! Also, we do have to mention that Brielle IS legally an adult so she can dress whatever way makes her feel the most comfortable.
And it appears that a handful of the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star's followers agree with us. Another fan noted:
The Minions better watch out — ’cause there's a new horde of super cute animated characters that audiences are going to adore!
The Angry Birds Movie boasts a talented cast of Jason Sudeikis, Peter Dinklage, and Maya Rudolph! But the group of children who voiced the adorable baby birds called the Hatchlings will totally steal the show with their cuteness!
In a new teaser, these fuzzy little birds attempt to wish viewers happy holidays by singing Deck The Halls — except none of them know the words!
Their rendition starts out strong, but as the song goes on, they quickly lose interest — and it's the cutest thing EVER!
Ch-ch-check out the festive vid (above) and go see the Hatchlings in action when The Angry Birds Movie hits theaters in May 2016!
Gwen Stefani spent her Sunday in El Lay surrounded by loved ones as she took her kids — Zuma, Kingston and Apollo — to church in the morning, and then picked up boyfriend Blake Shelton for a drive later in the afternoon.
Dang. She's great at making time for a love life!
Well anyway, the duo has only been photographed together in public a couple of times, and reportedly spent Thanksgiving with their individual families.
That makes sense, as it's still very early in their relationship!
We're happy to see they're going strong!

Rihanna knows just how to tease us to get excited for her highly-anticipated eighth studio album ANTI!
The B*tch Better Have My Money songstress dropped the latest entry in her ANTIdiaRy campaign this weekend — on the heels of her interactive website launch last week!
In the visually stunning video, RiRi struts inside a recording studio that looks like a leftover set from Tron: Legacy!
Rihanna then starts stretching and contorting (perhaps getting ready for the album release?) before a group of people manifests behind her!
Hopefully, her next music video will have this same hyper-futuristic feel — because we're ALL about it!
Check out the cool teaser (above)!
But does he have a shot at winning?!
Now, Idol is releasing the first official promo clip of 'Ye's audition, and it looks HIGHlarious!
