We know three things about vampires:
They live forever. They survive on blood. And they love taking all of their clothes off!
The latest vamps to get nude on camera are Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton for their new flick Only Lovers Left Alive!
This film looks EXTREMELY dark! But what do you expect when you're dealing with the blood-addicted undead?!
We've seen neck-suckers fall in love plenty of times before but never with a mood that this movie conveys! Tom and Tilda are vampire lovers on the run from the law after trouble-maker Mia Wasikowska shows up. The trailer doesn't divulge much about the story but we can tell that their unquenched thirst doesn't end at just blood — it continues on in the bedroom!
We, of course, LOVE seeing Tom as Loki in The Avengers and Thor but his true talent as an actor comes to life in this trailer!
Ch-ch-check out the official first look at Only Lovers Left Alive (above)!
The new revival of The Glass Menagerie on Broadway is worth seeing, purely for the performance of Cherry Jones.
Best known to TV audiences from her work on 24, the actress really shines on stage and commands the audience's attention at the Booth Theater - whenever she speaks or is just standing there. In fact, her presence is so powerful that it lingers when she's off stage too!
It is truly a Tony-worthy performance!
Menagerie is not one of our favorite plays from Tennessee Williams. It relies far too much on narration and not that much action happens in Act 1.
John Tiffany does a fine job directing, but Bob Crowley's scenic design - or lack thereof - left much to be desired.
As far as the other performers, Celia Keenan-Bolger was solid. Brian J. Smith was barely in the show. And, Zachary Quinto, while good, unfortunately attempted a very specific Southern accent that he just couldn't pull off and that had mostly disappeared by the end of Act 2.
Jones, however, is a Tennessee native and radiates not just authenticity but also brilliance in this production. See it for her! She is giving us some Meryl!!!
It looks like Taylor Swift is looking to add an Oscar to her long list of accomplishments!
Swifty is no stranger to on-camera roles, seeing as she had a part in Valentine's Day three years ago and made an appearance in New Girl earlier this year, and we're starting to think Tay-Tay has been bit by the acting bug!
The singer landed a supporting role in the upcoming film The Giver with Hollywood's best actors, Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Katie Holmes, and Alexander Skarsgård, and she is still in shock that it even happened!
Tay dished on her on-set experience:
Oh, Lorde! She's at it again!
Lorde's only been on the scene for a little while, but she hasn't been shy about blasting a massive helping of the music industry's A-list.
Even though Selena Gomez already brushed off her ultra honest comments, Lorde now seems to be trying to cause beef with the entire Disney crew!
