If you're a devout Harry Potter fan you might need to avert your eyes, and rock back and forth in a fetal position in a cupboard under some stairs! This news is rough.
We barely healed from the stinging, Sectumsempra-like wounds we got upon hearing that J.K. Rowling regretted getting Ron and Hermione together over Harry and Hermoine, and now this comes out!
The Ginny Weasley-portraying Bonnie Wright recently said she would be okay without the Chosen One shoving his Elder Wand into her Chamber of Secrets ever again:
Making the transition from a movie to a Broadway play is not easy, just ask Spider-Man: Into the Dark!
However, that doesn't mean the industry sure doesn't try.
Reportedly, the newest film being turned into an off-Broadway musical is the modern-day Greek mythology film Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief, starring Logan Lerman!
However, PJ isn't the only film coming to a stage near you!
Universal has its eyes set on two VERY well-known movies, one which starred Jim Belushi, the other starring a young Michael J. Fox!
AND 20th Century Fox has one of Meryl Streep's bitchiest roles coming to the stage AND Robin Williams' most famous cross-dressing character!
OH! And finally, Warner Bros is planning an extra special, stripper-filed Channing Tatum-inspired flick-to-stage transition as well!
Ch-ch-check out which other five HUGE movies are being eyed to make the transition…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Not only will all of
America Panem miss Plutarch Heavensbee, Effie Trinket herself is still dealing with the sad news.
Elizabeth Banks got emotional on the Today show talking about the loss of her Hunger Games co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman:
“I’m still processing it. I really am in shock. He is an absolutely amazing actor, respected by everyone and part of our family at The Hunger Games. We will miss him terribly, and obviously, really upset for his children and his partner. It’s just a tragedy.”
It really is such a monumental tragedy, Elizabeth. Our hearts go out to his partner and his children as well during this extremely trying time.

Who needs the Winter Olympics when you have Japanese Competitive Hole Digging! Right? Anyone?
In an event that seems like wholesome fun for everyone (especially if you enjoy somewhat pointless manual labor), nearly 300 teams competed in Japan's Chiba Prefecture for the 14th Annual All-National Hole Digging Championship.
The games that pit one team's pit digging skills against another's offer a prize of roughly $1,000 and a golden shovel worth nearly the same amount! And let's not forget about the prizes for costumes too!
Taku Suzuki, the event's organizer, had this to say about this half-hour challenge that tests your ability to dig yourself into the largest hole:
"Once you're an adult, I don't think there is anywhere else in the world where you can competitively dig a hole. So we thought that people would enjoy this event."
The winners this year were from Toyota City, and just like a Toyota, this team is going places! Those places are under the surface of the earth, but hey, way to dig deep guys!

How's this for a silver lining?
Philip Seymour Hoffman's untimely death, while inarguably tragic, saved lives.
Well, that's the theory at least.
Writer, director, and fellow addict Aaron Sorkin first met Philip on the set of Charlie Wilson's War. As they bonded over cigarettes, coffee, and recovery from substance abuse, they also admitted to each other that there was at least a decent chance that addiction might be what finally kills each of them.
According to Aaron, however, the Oscar-winning actor was able to find the bright side.
Phil, as Aaron called him, confessed:
