Brace Yourselves For Amanda Bynes' Comeback — Because She's Officially Off Probation!

amanda bynes off probation

Good news for Amanda Bynes!

On Monday, it was revealed that the former Nickelodeon child star is officially off of probation!

In case you forgot, the All That alum was initially placed on probation after she was arrested in 2014 for driving under the influence of Adderall. And while the stimulant was prescribed by a doctor, the industry vet took it right before she got behind the wheel — which caused her to fail several sobriety tests.

Eek.

At the time, Amanda was struggling with her mental health as well as smoking marijuana recreationally. Doesn't seem like the best combo to us. Just sayin'…

Nonetheless, that's all in the past for Miz Bynes as her lawyer told TMZ that her case had concluded back on Friday. YAYYYYY!

In fact, things seem to be going very well for the 30-year-old as she's currently in school at the Fashion Institute Of Design and Merchandising. It's said Amanda plans to debut her fashion line sometime later this year.

It sounds like the once controversial celeb is bracing herself for quite the comeback! Oh, we hope so.

The Late Bill Paxton Will NOT Be Recast On CBS Series Training Day!

| Filed under: TV NewsSad Sad

We may have lost Bill Paxton this week, but that doesn't mean we have to say goodbye to him on TV just yet.

The actor passed away over the weekend from heart surgery complications, with his untimely death coming four episodes into the run of what will be his last series, CBS's Training Day.

And though the Twister actor played one of the lead characters in the crime drama, producers made it clear they would not be recasting the role in the wake of his passing.

Creator Will Beall and executive producer Barry Schindel told TMZ that the 61-year-old was irreplaceable as crooked cop Frank Roarke on the freshman series.

Production on the show's premiere season wrapped in December, and the showrunners hinted they had a perfect "send-off" in store for Bill's character.

Thursday's episode will also feature a dedication to the actor at the top of the show.

CBS hasn't announced if the show will be back for a second season — but if Training Day gets renewed, the powers that be already know how they'll handle the tragic death.

We hope Bill's character gets a proper (aka BADASS) sendoff on the series. Our hearts go out to his loved ones at this devastating time.

Moonlight Pulled Off A Miracle Win After The Buzzer — But These Were The Biggest Traditional Upsets In Oscars History!

La La Land losing to Moonlight will probably go down as the biggest loss in Oscars history.

Not because Moonlight wasn't neck and neck with the popular musical for Best Picture, but because the cast and crew of La La Land had ALREADY accepted the award on stage thanks to an envelope snafu!

Of course, sometimes the name read off the card isn't a shock because of a mistake but because of honest-to-goodness come-from-behind victories!

Believe it or not, even Denzel Washington and Rocky shocked audiences at their award shows by pulling off wins no one saw coming.

Oscars Envelope Screw-Up Explained! And The Color Scheme Is To Blame???

Envelope Gate won't die!

This drama won't end!

#EnvelopeGate continues with more explanations as to exactly what went wrong during the Best Picture announcement at the 89th annual Oscars Sunday night in Los Angeles.

At this point we all know Warren Beatty was handed the wrong envelope (the Best Actress one to be exact) and that Faye Dunaway mistakenly called out La La Land as the winner.

Well, the reason for that is because there were two Best Actress envelopes. One was in Emma Stone's possession, while the other was mistakenly given to Mr. Beatty.

PricewaterCoopers, the accounting firm that oversees the envelopes, now explains that two of their reps, Martha Ruiz and Brian Cullinan, were stationed on both sides of the stage. Both also had their own briefcase containing envelopes of all the winners.

Ruiz handed off the Best Actress envelope when it was time to announce the award, the penultimate of the night, and then immediately following that, when Best Picture was about to be announced, Cullinan also handed off his duplicate of the Best Actress envelope. OOPS!!!

Another explanation also lies in the fact that
