Rick Glassman began GUSHING blood after splitting his tongue mere hours before the live season premiere of Undateable! It turns out that, during rehearsal for Friday's episode, the actor started to chow down on a bagel… but accidentally bit his tongue super hard!
Hard enough that he bled. A lot.
With only four hours left before hitting the airwaves, Rick was rushed to the hospital, where he got stitches for his injury! Yikes!
Producers must have been panicking because the comedian — who plays Burski on the hilarious program — supposedly had a large role in the premiere.
However, he was able to make it back to set with an hour left before showtime, but he's on some pain medication that forces him to swallow quite a bit.
Although, he was coherent enough to tweet about his mishap, which is always a good sign! Take a look at what he had to say (below)!
We're wishing him a speedy recovery, but for now it's going to be interesting to see how the episode goes.

On Friday night, Shia LaBeouf was handcuffed and arrested by local police in Austin, Texas.
According to sources, the Transformers actor appeared intoxicated when he jaywalked in front of authorities. While law enforcement warned him not to, the 29-year-old proceeded.
The former child star was in town for the Austin City Limits music festival.
In the past few years, the Los Angeles-native has exhibited a variety of erratic behaviors. Last year, he was even kicked out of a play for acting bizarre.
We just hope this experience teaches Shia to act more responsibly!

Nicole Kidman has endured a lot of pain throughout her life.
It's no secret that Nicole struggled to maintain her own identity during her union to Tom, especially since he became deeply entrenched in Scientology towards the latter part of their time together.
So, how did Nic manage to reclaim her powerful and bad a** self following the painful split?
According to the actress, she threw herself into work and creative projects, admitting:
"I was running from my life at that time. I wasn't able to handle the reality of my life and as an actor, you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else's life and become somebody else for a period of time. And when I look back on it, I really see that. Out of that came work that sort of was applauded and so that was an interesting thing for me. I then sort of embraced my own life and I got myself together and it took me a number of years and during that time, I worked a lot. The work was a great place for me to exist and then that culminated in winning an Oscar."
Turning heartache into an Oscar? #Winning.
But wait, was the success enough? Hear what Kidman had to say about her "loneliness" despite her fab accomplishments (below)!
We learned earlier this week that Cathriona White was actually married at the time of her apparent suicide.
But now we're starting to learn more about Mark Burton, the man she tied the knot with.
But now, the cameraman supposedly lives in a small town in Oregon, southwest of Portland.
Sources say he hasn't been seen this past week. Insiders have revealed that his truck hasn't moved in days. However, he supposedly tends to avoid being in public.
It's not clear if Cathriona's estranged spouse will be heading to Ireland to attend her funeral on Saturday.
The two met on the set of the internet television series The Online Gamer before getting hitched in Las Vegas two years ago. They supposedly separated before the makeup artist rekindled her romance with the Bruce Almighty actor earlier this year.
Sources say Jim is planning to be at her memorial service over the weekend. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Cathriona's untimely passing.

Back in April, we learned that Britney Spears and Italian music producer Giorgio Moroder were teaming up to cover Suzanne Vega's 1987 hit Tom's Diner.
And now, the lyric video for their cool collab is finally here!
The remake is given an electronic makeover featuring lots of synth under the blonde beauty's signature breathy tone, transporting the track from the 1980s into the future.
And the video, directed by Superbros, certainly follows suit!
The words flash across the screen in bright neon colors and all sorts of crazy fonts! And during the song's iconic "do-do do-do-do-do," we see the diner come to life in beams of light that almost look robotic!
We totally imagine this is what a coffee house would look like in the future! LOL! Ch-ch-check it out for yourself (below)!
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced on Friday that its former president, Gene Allen, has passed away at 97 years old.
He died of natural causes on Wednesday at his home in Newport Beach, California.
Gene had served as the leader of the Academy for three terms in the 1980s. But far before he headed the organization, he received an Oscar for Best Production Design for his work on the 1964 flick My Fair Lady.
He was also nominated for movies like A Star Is Born and Les Girls.
In addition, the film icon was the executive director of the Art Directors Guild from 1970-1997, and at the end of his reign he received a Special Achievement Award.
Scott Roth, who took over Gene's role at the Guild, expressed his condolences, saying:
"Gene Allen displayed verve and brio in his 27 years leading the Art Directors Guild. Add to this his service as an IATSE vice president, president of the Motion Picture Academy, and his multiple Oscar nominations (and wins) for Art Direction and you're looking at a protean career unlikely soon to be matched. He will be sorely missed by his many friends (including me) in the labor and entertainment communities."
Guild president Mimi Gramatky also added:
"Painting until almost the last day of his life, Gene was a consummate artist, leader and award winner who made an enormous contribution to the field of production and art direction, for which we are eternally grateful. We will miss him very much."
He is survived by his wife, Iris, and sons Pat and Mike. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this sad loss.

The former costars reunited for an Entertainment Weekly photo shoot in El Lay to celebrate 15 years since their film Bring It On — which has raked in more than $90 million.
This marks the first time since production that the four have been in the same place at the same time. Talk about a trip down memory lane!
During the interview, Bradford reminisced about how much fun they all had on set — you know, so much fun that they were even arrested while filming in Mexico! He recalled:
