According to Us Weekly on Wednesday, 365 days after making headlines, the songstress is working hard on her health.

Per the source:

“Every day is a constant struggle for Demi… [but] she’s remained determined to lead a life of sobriety and live her life to its fullest potential, especially following the first anniversary of her relapse.”

Among the changes she has made, the 26-year-old spends time kickboxing, eating healthy, and “surrounding herself with supportive people” including ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama,

In August 2018, the starlet broke her silence by writing on social media:

“I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet,. I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting.”

As we reported in March of this year, the musician split from boyfriend Henry Levy after dating for four months. Despite initial reports saying he was her sober companion, that does not appear to be the case.

The crooner and the designer were first linked back in November before making their relationship Instagram official by the end of December.

Amid their fling, in February 2019, a source via TheShadeRoom said Lovato checked herself back into rehab at a facility in Hawaii. Reportedly, Demi was pushed over the edge regarding criticism she faced over her comments about 21 Savage, after deactivating her Twitter over the controversy.

Most recently though, it was revealed she sought treatment not because she relapsed, but because she wanted to further her own wellbeing.

Back in March 2019, an ET insider said Lovato “is still sober and committed to her sobriety,” adding:

“She has hit a couple bumps in the road and had to return to the inpatient facility for short stints, but for the past 30 days she has been on her own and doing really well.”

You got this, Demi!
