Mischa Barton, most known for her role as Marissa Cooper on The O.C., has been struggling with depression.
She checked into a psychiatric hospital last year, but now she says that she feels that she is in a better place.
After admitting that she does suffer with depression, Mischa wants to put last year behind her.
She says that now she feels in control of her emotions. She uses music and literature as outlets and insists that she is usually a very fun person with a great sense of humor!
“I balance [depression] with positive things in my life and that’s why I have my outlets…As much as I get down, I’m an upbeat person. People always think of me as kind of a light in a room – I love to make people laugh.”
We are glad things are looking up for you bb! We want Marissa Cooper back!!
