Sesame street is encouraging girls to love their hair.
Young girls that don't have hair like Barbie sometimes feel left out, and in our society hair is something that girls do care a lot about.
This video was created by Joe Mazzarino, the head writer on Sesame Street.
He recently adopted a little girl, Segi, from Ethiopia and he wanted to show her that she is beautiful. He said that once she started playing with Barbies Segi started saying negative things about herself and her own hair.
He felt terrible about this and wanted to make it known to all girls that they should love themselves just the way they are.
