Phil Collins Contemplates Suicide!

In a revealing (and somewhat morbid) article in a new issue of Rolling Stone, Phil Collins admits he has contemplated suicide on several occasions.
The reclusive singer, who spends most of his time these days raising his two young sons from his last marriage, says in the article:
"I wouldn't blow my heard off. I'd overdose or do something that didn't hurt. But I wouldn't do that to the children. A comedian who committed suicide in the Sixties left a note saying,'Too many things went wrong too often.' I often think about that."
These days a neck injury has left the music legend unable to hold a set of drum sticks or even sign his signature, but he says he has little desire to create more music beyond his upcoming new disc of Motown covers, Going Back. The singer went on to say:
"I sometimes think I'm going to write this Phil Collins character out of the story. Phil Collins will just disappear or be murdered in some hotel bedroom, and people will say, 'What happened to Phil?' And the answer will be, 'He got murdered, but, yeah, anyway, let's carry on.' That kind of thing."
Heavy stuff. Even if in passing, suicidal ideations are no joke and should be taken seriously. We've already lost too much talent to suicide!
Lets hope Phil is simply talking philosophically and not crying out for help.
