Surfing Champion Attacked, Hospitalized

Four-time world surfing champ Stephanie Gilmore has been hospitalized after a man attacked her with a metal pole outside her home in Australia.

She has a fractured wrist and cuts to her head and hand as a result of the incident.

Fortunately, her assailant was caught and imprisoned. No word yet on why he attacked her in the first place.

WTF?! Remember being told not to hit anyone when you were a child? That still applies to everyone at all times!!

We wish her a full recovery.
