Looks like So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy will have to take it easy on the show, because she's incapable of screaming after having throat surgery.
Last month, Murphy had a tumor in her throat removed, but fortunately it was an "encapsulated tumor," which means that "it's less likely that the cancer spread."
According to Murphy, she first had a sore throat, then started losing her voice, and finally went to a doctor after her friends encouraged her to go.
Currently, doctors are trying to figure out the right medication to get her hormones operating properly, but she's doing well enough that she was able to re-join the show in time for its final three auditions, which start up on Feb 2nd.
We're glad to hear you're back on the show, Mary! We hope everything goes well as they get your medication-situation figured out.
