This is going to get ugly.
Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of his patient, Michael Jackson. Prosecutors will now attempt to prove that Murray’s negligence in prescribing the anesthetic propofol was the cause of Michael's death.
Murray’s medical license has been suspended. Its return to him is contingent on the outcome of this case. If he loses, he will likely never practice medicine again and could face up to four years in prison.
Michael Jackson was prescribed propofol to help him overcome insomnia, even though propofol is a powerful surgical anesthetic and not intended for home use. Jackson’s unsupervised use of propofol along with other drugs is was what caused his death.
We think Murray is guilty! If propofol was never meant to be prescribed for home use, and it’s obviously a powerful drug that requires close supervision, he never should have given it to Michael!
What do U think??
