Post To Reduce Sugar In Some Cereals

Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles are getting a healthy makeover — Post Food has decided to reduce the amount of sugar in each cereal to help provide a healthier option for kids.

The sugar content of each variety of Pebbles will be cut from 11 grams to 9 grams.

Post isn’t the first company to make this change — General Mills Inc., maker of Lucky Charms, Trix and Cocoa Puff cut the amount of sugar in 10 of its cereals to single-digit grams of sugar per serving.

This is an great step in the right direction! More and more companies are making socially responsible decisions!!
