Well, there’s still no cure for the common cold, but we’re getting closer!
Experts now believe that taking zinc while sick can help lessen the severity and duration of a cold. The trick is taking zinc syrup, tablets, or lozenges ON THE DAY you start feeling sick. Don’t wait!
That being said, zinc should not be used for a long-term solution. Taking too much can cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, so make sure you check the dosage and don’t overdo it.
Colds are crazy this time of year! Stock up on zinc!
