Love Anne Hathaway's long locks? Want radiant skin like Natalie Portman? Hollywood’s leading ladies understand that beauty is more than skin deep. It starts with a well-balanced diet full good quality fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.
Look and feel like a star with my Oscar-worthy nutrition tips:
Healthy Hair – For shimmering, starlet hair, be sure to include plenty of “good fats” in your diet from foods like avocados, salmon, and olives. Coconut oil is a healthy saturated fat that can add strength and shine to your hair. In fact, you can even add a little directly to your hair to give it an extra boost!
Skin Savers – Zap zits with omega 3 fatty acids found in tuna, halibut, and sardines. Some other great foods for healthy, clear skin include apples, broccoli, spinach, carrots, sweet potatoes and red peppers. These are high in vitamin A which is an antioxidant that protects our cells from damage.
Beat Bloating – Wipe out water retention by eating kiwi fruits, celery, sweet potatoes, and cucumbers. If you’re feeling a bit-backed up, start eating fiber-rich foods including apples, artichokes, oranges, and beans. Always drink plenty of water during the day to help stay regular and hydrated.
Nail Nutrition –Naturally strong and beautiful nails start with eating calcium-rich foods such as spinach, yogurt, kale, and cottage cheese. If your nails are brittle, eat cauliflower, peanuts, and lentils as these are all good sources of the nail-strengthening nutrition biotin.
