Or something like that.
A recent study found that overly-strenuous exercise at an old age (over 50) can actually cause damage to your heart. In other words, too much exercise can harm you.
Specifically, older men who trained too hard — for something like a marathon — were found to have heart muscle scarring.
Basically, once you start getting older, it’s important to pay attention to how hard your are pushing yourself. You can still maintain fitness without running marathons!
