Texting May Help Smokers Quit

This is the easiest way to quit smoking ever!
Basically, a study found that the areas of your brain that are activated when smoking get interrupted when you text.
In other words, texting distracts your brain from wanting to smoke.
This makes sense if you know that quitting is sort of like "a war that consists of a series of momentary self-control skirmishes."
If you can get through those momentary skirmishes, you’re on your way to cessation.
Bottom line: Keep on texting!
