The Paleo Diet is all about the basics — and by basics we mean the EXTREME basics. Caveman style.
Essentially, the diet is about eating natural, unprocessed foods, as well as nothing that comes from “agriculture,” which means no grains, rice, pastas, breads, etc. So really all you can eat is meat and veggies.
Sounds familiar? It should. It’s pretty much the Atkins diet minus the cheese.
We’re not crazy about this diet. The all-natural part is great, but whole grains are good for you.
Also, caveman all died really early! We live way longer than cavemen! Why would we eat like them again?
